Certified Lactation Counselors
Aloha! I provide birth and postpartum services, as well as lactation support and education. I was born and raised on the North Shore of O’ahu. My Kiwi husband and I lived in New Zealand for 7 years, where we were blessed to experience two wonderful, natural childbirths under the care of our midwife. Through these experiences and my professional background in health service management, I became more aware of the maternity system in America. After watching my best friend navigate the maternity system on Mau’i, I knew I wanted to become a doula to care for and protect the rights of parents through their pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Mãlama is Hawaiian and means, "to care for", "to protect". Having a doula can increase the chances of you experiencing the birth you want. Contact me to book your complimentary consultation to discuss your options for birthing on O’ahu.
